ch of the Ascension
The Church of the Ascension is a communion of faith, bound together in our worship, fellowship, and ministry; uplifted by the Holy Spirit; and committed to sharing and growing in Christ's love.

Church of the Ascension is located at 600 Gilpin Street about 2-1/2 miles from downtown Denver. Between the sedate Country Club and jazzy Colfax. Reflecting its neighborhood, our parish family represents a wonderful mix of older singles and couples, families with children, and young adults.

Helping in Haiti
The Episcopal Church is already actively assisting in relief efforts in Haiti. Ascension is asking everyone to support the Diocese's "Epiphany Appeal for Haiti Relief" by making a donation to the church, over and above regular commitments, and designated for "Haiti Relief." All funds given in this way will be matched up to $75,000 by a grant to the Diocese from the Anschutz Foundation. Please give generously.

The Bishop's Pastoral Letter about this appeal is here.

Father Harlan Nominated
The Diocese of the Rio Grande announced that they have nominated Father Harlan, along with four other priests to be their next bishop. They will elect one of the five nominees at a special convention on April 24th. More information can be found here.
