Church of the Ascension is located at 600 Gilpin
Street about 2-1/2 miles from downtown Denver, between the sedate
Country Club and jazzy Colfax. Reflecting its neighborhood, our parish
family represents a wonderful mix of older singles and couples,
families with children, and young adults. |

| Annual Meeting |
Sunday, Jan 29
9:00 am - One service followed by Annual Meeting and
meal hosted by the Vestry. Make plans to attend. It will be be an
Intergenerational Service the Feast of the Presentation of Jesus. The
sermon title is: In My Father's House.

God's Children
training will be hosted at Ascension and is open to the

| Spiritual Direction Meeting |
| Come
and participate with Al Starkey and Mother Cass on the second and
fourth Wednesday of the month at 7:00 p.m. as they lead another
meeting on ways to pray and communicate with God. |

| is an independent, self-supporting, year-round
preschool and childcare facility for children ages 1 through 5
years that resides at Ascension. Bright Star averages around 40
children, always with some from Social Services. Read more here. |
