Welcome!
Church of the Ascension is a place where faith and real life intersect, from where we are called to share God’s love in the Church and in the world. We do this through generous hospitality, serving one another, community involvement, and providing a welcoming place for exploring our relationship with God.
In this season we offer three Sunday services:
8 am Holy Eucharist, Rite II, spoken, no music.
10 am Holy Eucharist, Rite II, with organ and choir.
5 pm Celebration Service, a family-friendly service on non-holiday weekends.
Our Wednesday 11:30 am Teach and Preach Holy Eucharist meets in the chapel.
Both the 8 am and 10 am Sunday services follow the liturgy and order of service set out in the Book of Common Prayer and include Holy Communion. The 8 am service is quieter and does not have music. Our 10 am features joyful music led by a full choir. The 10 am service is also live-streamed below.
Christian Formation for children, youth, and adults takes place between the morning services from the Sunday following Labor Day to the Sunday before Memorial Day.
From Memorial Day weekend through Labor Day weekend, Ascension offers one family-friendly service at 9 am.
Children are warmly welcomed at all of our services.
