Parent & Toddler Time at Ascension

All parents and their young children are welcome to a casual gathering every other week in the church library. We will talk parenting, share stories and songs, offer toddler-friendly crafts, and build community. This group will meet on Friday, February 13 from 8:30 – 9:30 am and on Thursday, February 26 from 8 – 9 am.

On Wednesday nights during Lent (February 25, and March 4, 11, 18, and 25), join us for Lenten Suppers from 5:30 to 6:30 p.m. Supper begins at 5:30 p.m., and programming for all ages takes place from 6-6:30 p.m. SONshine singers will rehearse with Cindy Lindeen-Martin, while children and youth who aren’t singing in the choir, can participate in art-focused formation. Adults will explore the Nuts and Bolts of Lent, including:

The Spiritual Practices of Almsgiving, Fasting and Prayer with Keegan Drake and Chris Nazar, February 25;
Icons of Christ: The Passion and Resurrection with Ashley Tulp and Kate Hlavin, March 4;
The Stations of the Cross with Julie Mahoney and Ascension Youth, March 11;
The Meaning of the Vigil, with Kari Nichols and Susanna Shannon, March 18;
The Meaning of Good Friday with Cheryl McFadden and Kristin Ferguson, March 25.

Can’t make it to supper, but want to come to the program? Great! Can’t stay for programming, but want to come for an easy supper? Please come!
The cost is $10 per person/ $30 family maximum.
