2025 Parish Annual Meeting
Our Annual Meeting will be held Sunday, January 25 after the 10 am service in the Parish Hall.
We will review and celebrate the past year and vote on the proposed vestry slate and other parish business.
Our Proposed Vestry Slate includes:
Kristin Ferguson, Member
Kristin and her family have attended Church of the Ascension since 2022. She regularly serves as a eucharistic minister and Godly Play storyteller, chairs the children, youth and family committee and has helped deliver multiple women's retreats as well. Kristin's professional background is in sustainability and the built environment, and she has enjoyed giving back to organizations that support single moms, homeless youth and the food insecure. Kristin, her husband, Robert, and children, Davy, Rhodes and Boone, spend as much time in the mountains as they can, preferably recreating outdoors with friends and delighting in God's creation.
Ashley Tulp, Junior Warden
Ashley moved to Denver with her husband after graduating from Colorado College in 2006. Originally from Tulsa, Oklahoma, a cradle Episcopalian, Ashley grew up attending St. John’s Episcopal Church. She joined Church of the Ascension in 2021 and now serves on the youth committee. Outside of Ascension, Ashley is actively involved in the Denver community. She volunteers at both Graland Country Day School and Kent Denver School, where her four children—Tate, Davis, Daisy, and Knox—attend. Additionally, she serves on the advisory committee for the Coors Western Art Show, combining her love for the arts with her commitment to community and family values. Ashley is passionate about fostering connections, supporting her family, and giving back to the organizations that have shaped her life and faith.
Lucy Rinaldi, Senior Warden
Lucy grew up in the Church of England, attending a Church of England school from the ages of 11 – 18. After meeting and marrying Marc, her husband and a lifelong US Episcopalian, they moved to the USA in 1996 and she joined the Episcopal church. In her previous parish of Christ Church, Greenwich, she deepened her involvement by leading the Outreach committee and introducing several now longstanding outreach events to the congregation. After joining the staff of the church as Director of Engagement for three years, she joined the vestry and then became junior and then senior warden, where she worked intensively on a project to grow the church and increase its membership as well as working on first steps towards a capital campaign, while overseeing several interim capital projects. She helped grow Women’s ministry at Christ Church as well as several other initiatives. Her two boys attended both Christ Church’s preschool and Sunday school and were confirmed there. She believes in welcoming everybody to church and being as inclusive as possible. She has also used her financial background (she is currently the Chief Investment Officer for the Lasker Foundation) to help the church with its endowment and to remain fiscally responsible while helping formulate and investing in the church’s future plans whenever possible.
