Celebrate Grandparents with Us! This Homecoming Sunday, September 13, we’re celebrating the grandparents who mean so much to our children and our parish family! Parents, please send the names of your children’s grandparents to tina@ascensiondenver.org so we can recognize and honor them. Join us in church on Sunday, August 23, as we celebrate our community members embarking on a new academic year. Bring backpacks to have them blessed toward the end of our service. We'll also offer a special prayer for our young learners heading off to boarding school!

All children, youth, and families are invited to ride to the corner of 7th Ave and High St the morning of Wednesday, June 24 to have your bikes blessed for the year. We will have water, fruit, snacks, and coffee for parents, and Cheryl will offer you and your bike a blessing for the year. See you there!

Please join us for a private tour of the Clyfford Still art museum. This will be in lieu of our Toddler Morning at Ascension for this week, and as such, the tour will be kid-friendly and kid-tailored, though all are welcome! The Still's current exhibition (ending May 10th) is curated by children from the community where Still spent some time early in his career. Cultivating Virtue, Uprooting Vice, and Building Holy Community

It's time to register for the Spring Ascension Women's Retreat, to be held Saturday, April 18, 8:30 am to 2 pm.

Our guest speaker is author Grace Hamman, whose book Ask of Old Paths: Medieval Virtues and Vices for a Whole and Holy Life will be our foundation for the day. The retreat is facilitated by the Rev Dr Cheryl McFadden, Kristin Ferguson, Carolyn Craig, Lucy Rinaldi, and Christian Hawley. Cost for the day is $100 per person. Join us on Sunday, February 22, 2026 at 5:00 pm at The Church of Ascension during the Celebrate Service for a Litany for Peace. In a world longing for healing, we will gather in prayer, scripture, and reflection—lifting our hearts together for peace in our communities and beyond. All are welcome.
