Faith Formation Project

The Ascension Faith Formation Project invites parishioners of all ages into a shared, church-wide exploration of the life, ministry, death, and resurrection of Jesus Christ through the four Gospels. Over the course of two years, we will listen to each Gospel through weekly audio sessions accompanied by reflections and commentary from fellow parishioners. Designed for adults, youth, children, and families alike, this project seeks to deepen our common life through Scripture, prayer, conversation, and shared spiritual discovery. Together, we will hear again the story that shapes our faith and forms us as disciples.

This fall, we are reading together the Gospel of Mark. Join us for any one or more of the following:

  • Wise and Wonderful Wednesdays - Free Dinner and Bible Study: Wednesdays in October, 5:30pm, in the Parish Hall

  • Women’s Bible Study on the Gospel of Mark: Thursdays, 9am, in the Library

  • Podcast, reading the Gospel of Mark with commentary by members of Ascension, accessible here.
