Welcome!

Church of the Ascension is a place where faith and real life intersect, from where we are called to share God’s love in the Church and in the world. We do this through generous hospitality, serving one another, community involvement, and providing a welcoming place for exploring our relationship with God.

In this season we offer two services on Sunday mornings

8 am Holy Eucharist, Rite II, spoken, no music
10 am Holy Eucharist, Rite II, with organ and choir

Our Sunday 5 pm Celebration Service will resume January 11.
Our Wednesday 11:30 am Teach and Preach Holy Eucharist will resume January 7.

From the Sunday following Labor Day through the Sunday preceding Memorial Day, we usually have two church services on Sunday mornings. Both the 8 a.m. and 10 a.m. services follow the liturgy and order of service set out in the Book of Common Prayer and include Holy Communion. The 8 a.m. service is quieter and does not have music. Our 10 a.m. features joyful music led by a full choir. The 10 a.m. service is live-streamed below.

Christian Formation for children, youth, and adults takes place between the morning services from the Sunday following Labor Day to the Sunday before Memorial Day.

From Memorial Day weekend through Labor Day weekend, Ascension offers one family-friendly service at 9 a.m., and children are warmly welcomed at all of our services.
