--Fall Stewardship Campaign: Where We're At Now

It has been an amazing season here at Ascension!  Oktoberfest was the best attended (and most fun one yet!).  We celebrated the Blessing of the Animals last Saturday.  Last Sunday, Organist-Choirmaster Dan Romero blessed us with his preaching on a music themed stewardship Sunday.  That was one to remember!  And with all the recent (and coming!) baptisms, parish workdays, Deacon Tim's book study, and all the celebrations of the Holy Days soon to come, we are a busy, busy parish.

Last Sunday was the final Sunday to pick up your 2017 Pledge Card in person.  Last Wednesday, we mailed out the remaining pledge cards for the budget year 2017 for those who were not able to pick up their cards.  If you have not yet had a chance to make your pledge, please prayerfully consider doing so in the next couple of weeks.  Why?  Ascension needs your financial commitment.  It's that time of year when we talk numbers, and when we are honest about what the parish needs to thrive.  We have had an amazing year thus far, and I know it will only be getting better in the months and years to come.  We are thriving, growing, and celebrating Christ's love and the Gospel in our lives, all in the context of this amazing parish community.  The time is now to make your commitment to our 2017 annual budget.  I wanted to give all an update on where we are thus far in our Fall Stewardship Campaign.  As of last Wednesday:

Pledges Received:  28

Total Amount Pledged:  $80,515

So far we are tracking well, but we have a good way to go.  I will continue to offer updates in the coming weeks as to where we are with our Fall Stewardship Campaign for 2017.  Blessings on your weekend!

Ever in Christ,
