Church of the Ascension is located at 600
Gilpin
Street about 2-1/2 miles from downtown Denver, between the sedate
Country Club and jazzy Colfax. Reflecting its neighborhood, our parish
family represents a wonderful mix of older singles and couples,
families with children, and young adults. |

On Sunday, January 29, the Annual Meeting was held. The
attendance was good. Ministry Reports were made and new vestry members
introduced. The Annual

| Spiritual Direction Meeting |
| Come
and participate with Al Starkey and Mother Cass on the second and
fourth Wednesday of the month at 7:00 p.m. as they lead another
meeting on ways to pray and communicate with God. |

preschool and childcare facility for children ages 1 through 5
years that resides at Ascension. Bright Star averages around 40
