Bright Star Early Learning Center |

| |
Bright Star Early Learning Center is a non-profit preschool and child care facility. The
Center was founded as a ministry of Ascension by a group of parishioners
who saw a fit between the needs of families in the neighborhood for high-quality
child care and Ascension's large education building was little-used during the day.
Bright Star is now an independent non-profit organization which relies on the Church of the
Ascension’s in-kind hospitality. Both entities work together to provide quality child care
and early childhood education to Denver families. The Center does not advocate for any
religion, but does espouse Judeo-Christian Principles.
Led by our Director Carol Peters, our Teachers are trained in the 40 Developmental
Assets for Early Childhood which guide them, and parents, to help young children to
grow up healthy, caring, and responsible. Bright Star believes that optimal learning
occurs during play-based instruction and exploration. |

- Full-time, year-round preschool and child care
- Ages 1 year old through 5 years old
- Open 7:00 a.m. until 5:30 p.m., Monday throught Friday
- Healthy breakfast, lunch, and snack served every day
